The nonprofit community service group A Cup of Cold Water has announced its board of directors for 2015.
Its president is Kekuhaupi’o Akana. Other officers include treasurer John Decker and secretary Mary Lou Mellinger.
The board of directors includes Paula Baldwin, Jeanne Abe, Deb Lynch, Jeanne Fiddes and Mark Sitts.
Spiritual support comes from the Rev. Linda Decker and the Rev. Austin Murray, also board members.
The nonprofit operates a community care van that delivers the basic needs of water, food, clothing and comfort to Maui’s neediest residents. The outreach ministry is an all-volunteer program that receives no government funding. It relies solely on the generosity of island businesses, hotels, church members and grants.
