Advent service at Emmanuel Lutheran
Emmanuel Lutheran Church is presenting a 5:30 p.m. soup supper and 6:30 p.m. Advent worship service on Wednesday, as well as Dec. 14 and 21.

Holiday traditions theme of service
Makawao Union Church will begin preparing for Christmas with a special "Hanging of the Greens" worship service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. In word and song, the church will decorate the sanctuary while telling the stories behind many holiday traditions.
Makawao Union Church is a interdenominational community church located at 1445 Baldwin Ave., about 2.5 miles mauka of the Hana Highway. For more information, call 579-9261.
