Course look at ways early church expanded
Transformation School of Ministries is offering a course on "Expansion of the Church in the Book of Acts."
This course will pay particular attention to the ways the early church expanded in biblical history and to principles that continue to apply to the growth of the contemporary church.
Classes are from 6:30 to 9 p.m. June 2 to 3 and continue 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 4 at Faith in Jesus Church, 432 Waiehu Beach Road.
The cost is $20 for those who are auditing and $50 for those who are seeking a degree.
Emmanuel Lutheran Fun Run raises $54K
Emmanuel Lutheran School raised more than $54,000 during their annual Fun Run on May 20.
Students in preschool through eighth grade ran for 30 minutes each to raise money for their Kahului school.
