KAPALUA -- Justin Thomas eagled the 14th hole at the Kapalua Plantation Course on the way to a third consecutive round of 6-under-par 67 on Saturday in the SBS Tournament of Champions, giving him a two-shot lead. Thomas was at 18-under 201. Hideki Matsuyama, who shot 66, was in second place. William McGirt matched Matsuyama for the best round of the day and was tied for third at 14 under with Jimmy Walker and Ryan Moore.
