OUT AND ABOUT. . . A whirling dervish of activity is coming at us Saturday in the form of the next ArT=Mixx at Maui Arts & Cultural Center in Kahului. The center will pulse with visual projections by Professor LightWAV, music by DJs Prince Valium and Erica-Dee and live dance by Medusa and the Mermaids.
Line up to get a cool beverage and then head to the food truck by Three’s Bar & Grill.
“Three’s will have its food truck ready to crank out tasty snacks all evening long to help keep your energy up,” says Lisa Haole, Food & Beverage co-manager along with Luana Argel. “They’ll have hurricane french fries, bacon-wrapped hot dogs, tropical fish tacos, and inside-out Sriracha grilled cheese sandwiches, with or without bacon! Or grab a pie from the brick oven of Outrigger Pizza Company with cheese only or top it with pepperoni, lilikoi pork, or white cheddar and mushrooms.”
ArT=Mixx is free and open to those 21 and older. For more details, see Events on Page 11.
