King Kamehameha III School to present Ho‘ike

The students who will represent the king and queen at this year’s festivities are Queen Ella Briggs, daughter of Anthony and Victoria Briggs and King Ka‘eo Furtado, son of Michael Furtado and Malia Wong.

King Kamehameha III Elementary School in Lahaina will celebrate its annual Ho’ike at 8:30 a.m. Friday on the school campus.

The students who will represent the king and queen at this year’s festivities are King Ka’eo Furtado, son of Michael Furtado and Malia Wong, and Queen Ella Briggs, daughter of Anthony and Victoria Briggs.

The royal court representatives are Princesses Abagail Ankney, Taelani Bumanglag, Penina Cajudoy, Magdalena Granillo, Sloane Jucker, Hiilani Nae’ole Kahaialii, Hailey Noye and Marlee Tombs. Princes are Tali Buensonsejo, McKenzie Clarion, Kellen Cordero-Fernandez, Rocco Dahl, Joseph Lakovich, Zolten Poulsen, Kevin Silva and Taylor West. The conch blowers are Daisy Austin, Avalon Enyeart, Timote Lino and Sasha Rico. The master and mistress of ceremonies are Reef Lombardi and Sequoia Pelletier-Yamasaki.
