‘All life is sacred’

Bishop of Honolulu Larry Silva (right, in first photo) and Monsignor Terry Watanabe of St. Theresa Church walk near the front of Saturday’s March for Life on Puunene Avenue in Kahului. The religious march against abortion drew about 75 participants. “We certainly want to make sure all people understand that all life is sacred and that life begins at conception,” said Silva, seen greeting marchers in photo at right. “We need to be grateful for life.” Anti-abortion marchers (third photo) raise their hands in prayer while facing toward the Planned Parenthood office in Kahului on Saturday morning.
