Kahu Laki Kaahumanu blesses the Verizon Maui Smart Store near Target on April 14 with the help of William Wright, general manager of the store, and Stephanie Wu, Verizon district manager. The Smart Store, Verizon's third in the state, is about 2,000 square feet larger than the previous store in the Maui Marketplace. The new store has zones, such as "Get Fit," "Amplify It" and "Home," to help customers more easily locate the devices they are interested in, a Verizon official said. The store is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays to Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays. The Verizon Maui Smart Store is one of the first businesses to occupy new buildings in the Pu'unene Shopping Center.
