The state Real Estate Commission will hold its monthly committee meetings Jan. 10 on Maui as part of its Neighbor Island outreach program, supervising executive officer Neil Fujitani said.

The meetings will take place at the Realtors Association of Maui office at 441 Ala Makani Place in Kahului. The Laws and Rules Review Committee will meet first at 9:30 a.m., followed by the Condominium Review Committee and the Education Review Committee.

The committee meetings are open to the public and will have set agenda items. Members of the commission and the commission’s staff will be present.

The Laws and Rules Review Committee covers issues related to state laws on real estate brokers and salespersons, professional and vocational licensing law, fees relating to boards and commissions and other related rules. The Condominium Review Committee deals with issues related to condominiums, including projects and public reports, governance and management and condo association registration. The Education Review Committee deals with issues that include real estate education, mandatory continuing education curriculum, pre-licensing education curriculum and real estate licensing exams.
