Lanai health center has new website

The Maui News

The Lanai Community Health Center has launched a more user-friendly website.

The website, www.lanaihealth.org, was designed by Rust Built, the same digital marketing agency that developed the old site, said a news release earlier this month. The site includes a patient portal, which allows people to pay bills online and to make a donation, and directs users to information about community events, fitness class schedules and career opportunities.

The old website address, www.lanaicommunityhealthcenter.org, will redirect users to the updated website.

“We are excited and pleased to launch our new website with an enhanced user experience,” said the nonprofit’s Executive Director Diana Shaw. “Accessing information will be simpler, making it easy for the health center to connect with our community and web visitors.”

The center discussed the website update with Jenerate PR, a public relations and marketing firm retained by the center. It was looking for assistance in managing content, the redesign process.

Jenerate provided guidance on the renovated site’s navigation and functionality to better align with the center’s marketing plan, publicity efforts and social media strategy.

Rust Built updated the website with a contemporary layout, improved content organization and navigation, allowing users to quickly find the information they need. The new website utilizes a responsive design that smoothly adapts to fit the size of device used, whether smartphone, tablet or computer, the news release said.

The center is dedicated to taking care of the community of Lanai, focusing on patients’ physical, mental, emotional, intellectual and spiritual welfare.
