Crews battle a structure fire at a three-unit commercial warehouse at 325 Pakalana St. Unit 1 in Waikapu on Thursday night. The Maui Fire Department said the incident was reported at 6 p.m., with first units on the scene checking for occupants and making an "offensive attack" on the fire. As of 8 p.m., no evacuations were required and the fire was under control but not yet extinguished, MFD said. The cause was under investigation. Units responding included Engine 1 from Wailuku; Kahului's Engine 10, Tanker 10 and Rescue 10; Engine 5 from Makawao; Engine 6 from Kihei and two battalion chiefs.
