Disappointed Yamashita didn’t explain hotel tax vote

I recently received a newsletter from state Rep. Kyle Yamashita. I was disappointed that Rep. Yamashita did not explain why he voted in favor of sending our Maui hotel tax dollars to Honolulu to pay for the Oahu rail project. We need to keep our money here on Maui to help pay for expenditures on our ever-growing island.

We need a representative that votes in the best interest of Maui and not the "good ol' boys" of Oahu.
