Sens. Brian Schatz and Mazie Hirono violated the will of the people who elected them when they did not carry the people's wishes, as expressed in the Presidential Preference Primary of 2016, to support Bernie Sanders for the Democratic Party nomination.
Through that act, they are guilty of colluding to put us where we are today with the current occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. They need to apologize to the people of Hawaii and the people of the United States for not listening to the will of the people.
Only Rep. Tulsi Gabbard is worthy of our votes. I, for one, will not support either of our senators until they apologize to the Hawaiian people and neither should anyone who voted for Bernie Sanders or believe in the democratic process.
