This land grab by Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is another example of how Hawaii is losing its way. Unfortunately, Hawaii's land grab goes further back than Zuckerberg.
There is only so much of the beautiful Hawaiian Islands that all should enjoy. Massive acre grabs by millionaires and billionaires slowly retreat everyone into metro areas, where as places you could once enjoy are met with no trespassing signs.
In order to keep Hawaii from the greedy land grabbers, everything must be done to ensure Hawaiian cultural lands are kept intact and unharmed, able to be preserved and viewed by all for generations to come. The state needs to assess any and all new land being developed by making sure that a million-plus-dollar mansion isn't sitting on a significant cultural site. No one wants the rest of the islands to be as crowded as Oahu.
