Honolulu's Yuko Nakai won the Maui Marathon women's title for a third straight year Sunday, completing the 26.2-mile race from Hookele Street in Kahului to the Kaanapali Beach Hotel in 3 hours, 17 minutes, 12 seconds.
Tetsuya Yoroizaka of Japan was the men's winner, in 2:43:22.
Nakai, who in January won the Maui Oceanfront Marathon for second time in three years, finish 58 seconds ahead of the women's runner-up on Sunday, Lahaina's Lindsey Dwyer.
Canada's Luc Tremblay was second in the men's race 2:54:38.
