The University of Hawaii women’s basketball team won its second game in a row, 70-68, over UC Irvine in California on Thursday night.
The Rainbow Wahine (9-12, 5-3 Big West) was led by Amy Atwell, who had 19 points. Makenna Woodfolk and Courtney Middap each chipped in 11 points for Hawaii.
The Anteaters fell to 14-5 overall and 4-3 in the Big West.
Hawaii finishes a two-game road trip on Saturday at Long Beach State.
Hawaii outrebounded Irvine 43-33 for the game. The Wahine also shot 17-for-18 from the free-throw line.
