The University of Hawaii football team will start the 2019 season with three straight games against Pac-12 teams and has eight home games, the Rainbow Warriors' most games at Aloha Stadium since 2002.
UH's 13-game schedule was announced Monday as the Mountain West Conference finalized its schedule.
The Rainbow Warriors kick off the season Aug. 24 against Arizona at Aloha Stadium. They then host Oregon State two weeks later before taking on defending Pac-12 champion Washington in Seattle on Sept. 14.
After playing Central Arkansas at home, UH starts Mountain West play Sept. 28 at Nevada. The Rainbow Warriors conclude the season against Army at Aloha Stadium.
Six of Hawaii's opponents made bowl games last year: Washington, Nevada, Boise State, Fresno State, San Diego State and Army. The Huskies finished 13th in the final Associated Press poll; Fresno State was 18th, Army 19th and Boise State 23rd.
The Rainbow Warriors completed an 8-6 season with a 31-14 loss to Louisiana Tech in the Hawaii Bowl in December. It was Hawaii's second bowl appearance in three seasons under coach Nick Rolovich.
