The University of Hawaii women's basketball team defeated UC Riverside 51-44 on Thursday in Riverside, Calif.

The game was tied at 23 after two quarters, and the Rainbow Wahine took a 39-36 advantage into the fourth.
UH pulled away after Middap made a couple 3-pointers to give the Rainbow Wahine a 50-42 lead with 1 minute, 26 seconds to go.
Malou De Kergret had 17 points to lead the Highlanders (15-13, 9-6).
