Meyer Leigh Hiromasa Ueoka of Kahului, Maui passed away peacefully on February 24, 2023, under the compassionate care of Hospice Maui. Meyer Leigh was born in Puunene, Maui on April 24, 1944 to the late Henry Hirochika Ueoka and Yaeko Ujiie Ueoka. He retired from the State of Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources, Division of Forestry and Wildlife. He enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, fishing and diving.
