January 8, 1955 – February 10, 2023 We sadly announce the passing of Alice Sachie Nitta, beloved sister, auntie, grand auntie and friend into heaven. Alice lived most of her life on Maui and moved to Oregon on September 1, 2022. She was a beautiful soul who was loved by so many and Alice had nicknames for everyone. If she didn’t, Alice would say “you’re my buddy”. Alice loved her 60’s music intensely and always requested to hear the Beatles, Monkees, Beach Boys and The Supremes. Carol Ann Ouchi of Kahului passed away on January 4, 2023, at Hospice Maui. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Ouchi, and sons, Blain Ouchi and Reid Ouchi and grandson, Mason Ouchi. She is also survived by her brothers Glenn (Tam) Arai and Alan (Carol) Arai and numerous nieces and nephews. Private services were held. The family requests no koden or flowers.
