Stanley Kasahara Boteilho of Kahului, passed away surrounded by his loved ones at his place of residence on June 26, 2021. In honor of his wishes, a private service will be held for immediate family on July 19, 2021 at Nakamura’s Motuary. His final place of rest will be at his favorite fishing spot outside of Olowalu, Lahaina, where his ashes will be scattered at a later date. Virgilio Tumpap Sr., of Lahaina, Maui, passed away peacefully at home at the age of 76 on June 9, 2021. He was born in Ilocos Norte, Philippines on May 22, 1945. His beginnings in Hawaii started in Honolulu, O’ahu before growing his family in Hanama’ulu, Kaua’i and later settling in Honolua and Mahinahi-na in West Maui where he would raise his family.
