Clifford Hatsuyuki Koki passed away on November 25, 2020 at his home in Kapuna, Waihe’e, Maui. He was born January 29, 1954 in Wailuku, Maui to the late Masamu and Leocadia Koki. Clifford was retired from the State of Hawaii, Department of Transportation, MVSO. During his retirement, he enjoyed reading, travel-ing, cooking, working in his yard, cultivating and growing Hawaiian chili peppers, avocados, and fruits which he generously shared. Yaeko “Jean” Nako, 92, of Kahului passed away on October 31, 2020 in the comfort of Hospice Maui Hale’s care. Yaeko was born on May 12, 1928 to Yasunori and Kame Tamashiro in Paia, Maui. She was a licensed practical nurse at Maui Memorial Hospital and later becoming a full-time mother and wife, impacting many lives. She was generous and caring, always thinking of others first. Rudy Oen, 86, of Haiku peacefully passed away on November 18, 2020 at 7:23 am under the care of Hospice Maui. He was born on August 10, 1934 in Malang, Indonesia to the late Bing-Tiat and Erna Oen. He attended the University of Pajajaran in Bandung, Indonesia where he received a degree in Physical Education and swam competitively with Aquarius Swim Club that he founded.
