Fred H. Yamashige, 97, of Wailuku passed away on July 10, 2020. He was born on March 27, 1923 in Pulehu, Maui. Fred worked at Maui Land & Pineapple Co. for 40 years. He is survived by his wife, Helen; daughter Emilyn (Earl) Kono; sons Eric (Iris) and Kyle (Sandra); 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Roberto was a Draftsman by trade and later retired as a Palletizer at Maui Land and Pineapple Company. He enjoyed fishing, cycling, going to the movies and bingo. Jay Jitsuo Kunitake was born December 20, 1924 in Puunene, Maui, Hawaii and passed July 18, 2020 peacefully at home. Jitsuo was a veteran of the pacific campaign during World War II where he served as a medic and interpreter.In 1954 he married his late beloved wife June Yukiko and 2 years later moved to Los Angeles.
