Lin C. Watanabe, age 58, of Kahului, Maui, Hawaii passed away on May 22, 2020. She worked at Foodland Kihei and was a licensed seafood distributor. Founder of Watanabe Taiko, she was passionate about sharing taiko music and the obon tradition. Lin is survived by her parents, Albert and Amy Watanabe; sister Kay (Ronald) Fukumoto; her companion of 35 years Brian Kasahara; and nephew Mitchell Fukumoto. Joyce I. Kimura, age 92, of Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii passed away peacefully on May 2, 2020. She was a retired nurse from Maui Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed her work and after retiring from the hospital, she volunteered there for many years. She also enjoyed volunteering at St. Anthony Church. She loved the beach, fishing, picking ogo, golfing and Las Vegas. Joyce is survived by her daughter Aimee Kimura-Koch and her granddaughter, Jazmyne Koch-Geis.
