Howard H. Takemoto, 76 of Wailuku, Maui passed away on September 17, 2019 at Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born on November 23, 1942 in Wailuku to Shigeo and Mutsuyo Takemoto. He retired from Hawaiian Cement as a Mechanic. A Memorial service will be held on Friday, October 11, 2019 at Wailuku Hongwanji Mission with service to begin at 1:00pm over urn. Haruko Yogi, 91 of Wailuku, Maui passed away on September 16, 2019 at her residence under the care of Hospice Maui. She was born on January 4, 1928 in Okinawa, Japan. Haruko worked for Miyako Sushi and Takamiya Market before retiring. She is survived by her husband, Shinyei Yogi; daughters, Alice Yogi, Sandra (Ben) Benito, Linda Warthen and two grandchildren, Jasmine Benito and Alex Benito.
