Ruth Esther Kircher, 68, of Wailuku, Maui, passed away on September 25, 2017, at Hale Makua Wailuku. She was born on August 22, 1949, in New York. A memorial service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 7, 2017, at Doris Todd Memorial Christian School in Paia. Norman’s Mortuary is assisting with arrangements. Allen S. Matsumoto, 68, of Kula, passed away on September 22nd, at Maui Memorial Medical Center. Allen was born in upper Paia to Masaru and Alice Matsumoto. After graduating from Maui High School in 1967, he joined the army, completing his term of service as a medic.
