Free Hawaiian Heritage Film ‘Ka Hana Kapa’ at the MACC

The Maui Arts & Cultural Center will offer a free screening of the documentary film "Ka Hana Kapa" at 3 p.m. Sunday in McCoy Studio Theater.It is the story of kapa making in Hawaii, as told by practitioners and their students. The film follows the kapa-making process from plant to cloth.This film presentation was made possible by the MACC with support from the Hawai'i State Foundation on Culture and the Arts, the National Endowment for the Arts and the Hawai'i Council for the Humanities.
