Ka‘anapali Beach Hotel unveils its new logo

The Ka’anapali Beach Hotel has redesigned its logo to “pay homage to its heritage and deep Hawaiian roots,” the hotel said.
The new look centers around a kukui nut lei, which holds significance as a guiding light or safe passage for travelers as they journey throughout the islands, according to the news release.
“The kukui leaf, which was represented on our old logo, only told part of the story. We wanted our employees, staff and guests to understand the importance of the lei and the rich history,” said Mike White, general manager of the hotel. “By highlighting the whole lei, we are better able to share one of our treasured symbols with the world.”
The hotel has handed out more than 330,000 kukui nut lei to departing guests in the last 16 years, according to the news release. When guests return to the hotel, a white nut is added to the lei.
