Members of the Senior League World Series championship team from Central East Maui Little League carry their banner down Market Street on Friday in a celebration of youth baseball on Maui. Seven teams were feted during the parade that ended at Wailuku’s First Friday event on Market Street. Mayor Michael Victorino handed out certificates to the players. All seven teams won state titles with two advancing to their respective World Series — Central East Maui won the Senior League World Series, while and the Central East Maui Majors team reached the U.S. title game before finishing fourth overall at the Little League World Series at Williamsport, Pa.
