Pride of Maui Customer Service Manager, Takako Medeiros, motors across Maalaea Harbor after launching the snorkel tour boat’s dinghy early Wednesday morning. Medeiros said the Pride of Maui is scheduled to resume operations Dec. 15 and is currently finishing an extensive upgrade. “It’s going to be like brand new,” she said.
