Lahaina gym roof to be waterproofed

A project to waterproof the roof of the Lahaina Civic Center gym will start March 1 and last until May 30, the county Department of Parks and Recreation announced.
Contractor International Roofing & Building Construction Inc. will apply liquid waterproofing to the gym roof. The public is asked to stay away from work areas for safety reasons.
The Lahaina Civic Center Social Hall and Gymnasium remain closed because of the COVID-19 pandemic and county emergency health rules that limit gatherings.
