Police investigating Haiku man’s death

Police are asking for the public’s help in the continuing investigation into the death of a 67-year-old man in Haiku last year.

Julian Heyward III was reportedly found hanging on his porch at 6:36 p.m. Aug. 10.

While the initial investigation revealed no signs of foul play, detectives are looking for anyone who may have information directly related to Heyward’s death, according to a Maui Crime Stoppers bulletin Monday.

Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Matthew Bigoss at 244-6313.

Anyone wanting to remain anonymous can call Maui Crime Stoppers at 242-6966.
