Police are asking for the public’s help in the continuing investigation into the death of a 67-year-old man in Haiku last year.

Julian Heyward III was reportedly found hanging on his porch at 6:36 p.m. Aug. 10.

While the initial investigation revealed no signs of foul play, detectives are looking for anyone who may have information directly related to Heyward’s death, according to a Maui Crime Stoppers bulletin Monday.

Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Matthew Bigoss at 244-6313.

Anyone wanting to remain anonymous can call Maui Crime Stoppers at 242-6966.

Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of people responsible for felony crimes, the recovery of stolen property or seizure of illegal drugs in felony cases or the capture of felony fugitives.
