Maui Jazz and Blues Festival rescheduled

The Maui News

Due to the pandemic, the Maui Jazz and Blues Festival scheduled for Saturday has been rescheduled to June 11 at the Kaanapali Shores Resort, according to organizers.

“It’s been quite a rollercoaster ride the last two years, buying airline tickets, arranging production logistics, booking artists, finding sponsors and dealing with the ever-changing restrictions and then having to start all over again,” said Maui filmmaker and promoter Ken Martinez Burgmaier. “However the show will go on with true aloha!”

The festival will feature Grammy jazz and blues legends flying in from New York, New Orleans, Kansas City and Los Angeles. Performers will include Wayne Toups, Bobby Watson, The Iguanas, Javon Jackson, Steve Turre, Michael Doucet, Eric Marienthal, Delfeayo Marsalis, Russel Malone, Zenshin Daiko Drummers and others to be announced.

Refunds can be made by visiting mauijazzandbluesfestival.com.

Starting at $4.62/week.
