The consequences of drunken and impaired driving and the most common trauma injuries on Maui will be discussed at the first Maui Health virtual Trauma Community Health Fair at 5 p.m. Dec. 8.

Maui Health Trauma Medical Director Dr. Art Chasen and emergency medicine Dr. David Williams will provide information, along with speakers from the Maui Police Department, Maui Driving School and others. The fair will include education and tips, and real-life stories and testimonials.

The interactive event will be streamed live on Facebook at facebook.com/wearemauihealth. People can register for the fair at www.mauihealth .org/calendar/events/virtual-trauma-community-health-fair/.

Those who register by Wednesday will receive a free event gift pack mailed to their homes.
