COVID-19 at a Glance

Latest developments:

• State Department of Health on Tuesday reported 824 new confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 613 cases on Oahu, 107 on Maui, 50 on Hawaii island, 25 on Molokai, 17 on Kauai and 12 Hawaii residents diagnosed out of state.

• There have now been 104,597 confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 73,568 on Oahu, 12,593 in Hawaii County, 11,573 in Maui County (11,098 on Maui, 318 on Molokai and 157 on Lanai) and 3,637 on Kauai. A total of 3,226 Hawaii residents have been diagnosed outside of the state.

• No new deaths were reported Tuesday; the statewide fatality count remains at 1,082.

• Honolulu County is averaging 1,216 new cases a day and a test positivity rate of 14.3 percent, followed by Maui County at 93 cases and 9 percent, Hawaii County at 72 cases and 7.8 percent and Kauai County at 36 cases and 6.4 percent.

• Hawaii has reached a 74 percent vaccination rate of the total population statewide, with Honolulu County at 77 percent, Kauai County at 71 percent, Maui County at 67 percent and Hawaii County at 66 percent.
