Miss Hawaii Teen USA Noelani DeNisi (left) and Miss Hawaii USA Savannah Gankiewicz share a moment together after receiving their certificates of congratulations from Maui County Mayor Richard Bissen Jr. at the county building on Wednesday. DeNisi and Gankiewicz were honored by the county after being crowned on Jan. 15 at the Hawaii Convention Center. The mayor, whose sister Sheron Leihuanani Bissen once served as Miss Maui and Miss Hawaii, presented certificates to the two women with their family and friends in attendance and spoke about how their achievements brought great pride to Maui.
