As the Maui County Fair comes back following a six-year hiatus, organizers are calling for nonprofit food vendors, parade entries, volunteers and sponsors.

The Maui County Fair will make its long-awaited return Oct. 2-5 at the War Memorial Special Events Complex in Wailuku. This will be the first time the county has held the fair, which has existed for nearly a century, since 2019.

“While our official applications aren’t quite ready, we’re excited to get the ball rolling by connecting with interested vendors, parade participants, volunteers, and sponsors now,” coordinator Daryl Fujiwara said in a news release. “We’re gathering contact information and exploring the ‘ono local eats, unique crafts and valuable services our community has to offer.”

Interest sign-up forms have been created for nonprofit food vendors; Maui County-made commercial vendors, crafters and artisans; and volunteer opportunities.

The county is also encouraging parade participation and sponsorship opportunities. Vendor space is limited, and parade participants are being encouraged to get involved early.

According to organizers, the parade will be a great opportunity for marching bands, school groups, cultural organizations and creative units to show their pride and spirit.

Interest forms are available at www.TheMauiFair.com.

Starting at $4.62/week.
