On Oct. 15, Calvin Hara, community educator of the Alzheimer’s Association Hawaii Chapter and member of the Alzheimer’s/Dementia Rotary Action Group, will present “Ten Healthy Habits for Your Brain” at the Rotary Club of Kihei-Wailea meeting.

According to the Rotary Club, Hara has 30 years of senior care management in California and Hawaii, and Hara has been a family caregiver for his mother and uncle.

Hara is a member of the Alzheimer’s/Dementia Rotary Action Group and volunteers with the Alzheimer’s Association, Hawaii Chapter, serving as a community educator and chair of the public policy and advocacy committee.

The presentation will take place at Kihei Lutheran Church, 220 Moi Place, in Kihei. Social time and a light lunch will begin at 11:15 a.m., followed by the program from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
