Darren Strand has been named as director of Agricultural Operations at Maui Land & Pineapple Company Inc.

Strand will oversee agricultural strategy and operations, implementing sustainable growth practices, the firm said.

Strand was most recently director of Hawai’i Farm Project and as president of Maui Gold Pineapple Company.

He’s also president of the Hawai’i Farm Bureau, founded by Hawaiʻi farmers and ranchers involved in the state’s agricultural industry.
