Sports Lessons: The things I enjoy about being an athlete are being surrounded by my teammates and coaches who support me in my athletic journey, and creating memories that will last a lifetime. It is also a journey of self-discovery and resilience. The dedication that is required to compete and train, and overcome challenges, builds character and instills a strong work ethic. Without my teammates and family I would not be the person I am today.

Being an athlete has taught me many things in life. To stay focused and to be able to be responsible by keeping up with school work and finishing my kuleana. To also stay humbled and stick to myself when times get tough.
