Future Plans: As much as I love living in Maui. I know that I need to get away to experience what life is like outside of paradise. I am very interested in some of the universities located in Michigan, Colorado, Maryland and North Carolina. Although I am not exactly sure what I want to pursue for the rest of my life I do know that I want to make a difference in the medical field. Currently, I plan on majoring in nursing or biology and becoming a Physician’s Assistant.
Sports Lessons: What I enjoy most about being an athlete is the understanding that you can do whatever you set your mind to. The rewards of achieving the physical and mental goals that you set for yourself is full proof of how success is dictated by how much effort you put into what you want.
Being an athlete has taught me how to be a good teammate and leader. Being an athlete has also taught me the discipline of time management, the value of patience, and most importantly implementing perseverance in everything I do.
