Maui County to collect domestic waste
Maui County is starting a free disposal service for domestic household waste in Central Maui, including antifreeze, aerosols and batteries.
Others include fire extinguishers, fluorescent bulbs and tubes, oil-based paints, pesticides, solvents, and thermometers.
The Department of Environmental Manager is starting the collection on Jan. 18.
Appointments are required for the drop-off through the Oahu-based EnviroServices & Training Center at (808) 456-3494.
