Members of the Sewing Hui of Maui will be the featured guest speakers for the Rotary Club of Kahului meeting from noon-1 p.m. Dec. 1 at Tante’s Island Cuisine at the Maui Seaside Hotel.

Hui members will share their grassroots work sewing and donating more than 50,000 fabric face masks, 9,000 scrub caps and hundreds of quilts, pillowcases, tote bags and keiki clothes during the pandemic and beyond.

The group has also been actively supporting Lahaina fire survivors, creating comfort quilts, hygiene kits and custom bags for families in need.
