Sports Lessons: What I enjoy most about being an athlete is to consistently challenge and push myself to improve everyday. I love the challenge, the teamwork from putting on that helmet and stepping on that field, to the feeling of the Friday night lights with the crowd cheering is an incredible feeling I’ll never forget. Most of all, I enjoy the friendships and memories I made with all my teammates. Being an athlete has taught me discipline, time management and the importance of hard work. It’s also shown me how to handle both success and failure with respect, and how to stay focused on improving everyday. Most importantly, it taught me the value of what it takes to play as a team because no matter how skilled you are you can only succeed when everyone works together.
