Hawaii gas prices continue to remain near their lowest levels of the year, according to AAA Hawaii.

On Thursday, the group reported the average price for regular unleaded statewide was $4.44, which is 12 cents lower than the price was a year ago.

“This month, Hawaii drivers are paying their lowest gas prices of 2025, which is great news for year-end holiday travelers,” said Liane Sumida, general manager of AAA Hawaii, in a news release. “A record number of 22.2 million Pacific state residents are expected to travel over this upcoming holiday period, and Hawaii will be among the top destinations for U.S. travelers.”

In Honolulu, the average price for regular unleaded gas was $4.39, while Kahului was at $4.49, which is three cents lower than last week and 14 cents lower than a year ago.
