The Realtors Association of Maui is offering a new homeownership education program for first-time and prospective homebuyers.

The KAKOU program provides homebuyer education, individualized coaching and post-purchase support. It is being launched in partnership with the Hawaii Homeownership Center, which said it has helped more than 6,000 Hawaii residents navigate the homebuying process, with 65% of participants statewide going on to purchase their first home.
