Hawaii LGBT group offers scholarships

The Hawaii LGBT Legacy Foundation is accepting applications for its Rainbow Legacy Scholarship Fund, supporting LGBTQIA+ high school seniors in Hawaii who plan to pursue post-secondary education.

Scholarship recipients will receive $2,000 to support education-related expenses. To be eligible, applicants must be a resident of Hawaii and have at least a 2.5 grade-point average.

Preference will be given to applicants who self-identify within the LGBTQ+ community, demonstrate financial need, plan to stay in Hawaii or return to the community, show strong volunteer experience and service, and who submit strong letters of recommendation.
