Maui County boards, commissions focus of Tuesday meeting for Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset

Jody K. Yoshida, the boards and commissions liaison for the Office of the Mayor, will be the speaker at the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset meeting Feb. 17.

According to the club, Yoshida will talk about the Maui County Boards and Commissions, vacancies and why it’s important to serve. She will outline the types of commissions and answer questions from the audience.

The meeting will be at the YMCA West Side Resource Center in the old Tamura’s building in Emerald Plaza, 226 Kupuohi St., in Lahaina. The social period will begin at 5 p.m., with the meeting program from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Attendees are welcome to bring their own food and beverages.
