Budget priorities topic of discussion at South Maui community town hall on Feb. 24
Maui County Council member Tom Cook will host a South Maui town hall at 6 p.m. Feb. 24 at the Malcolm Center, 1305 N. Holopono St., Suite 5, to gather input on the community’s budget priorities.
According to the council member, the meeting is meant to share progress, outline current challenges and gather community perspectives ahead of the County Council’s upcoming budget session.
Cook is also encouraging residents to take a brief survey at bit.ly/smbudgetsurvey26 to help inform discussion topics and budget priorities for South Maui.
Residents will have an opportunity to share concerns, ask questions and provide input during the townhall. To help organizers get a headcount, residents who plan to attend are encouraged to RSVP at bit.ly/southmauitownhallrsvp.
