The Rotary Club of Kihei-Wailea will hear from Vertical Sports Maui during the club’s meeting at 11:15 a.m Feb. 11 at Kihei Lutheran Church, 220 Moi Place, in Kihei.

According to the club, Vertical Sports Maui Executive Director Shanna Jarc will share a story about sports and the transformation that happens when young people discover their potential.

Vertical Sports Maui uses skills-training principles for athletes to address a player’s individual needs – physically, mentally and spiritually – and provides youth with opportunities to prepare for success on and off the field.

The presentation will cover how caring adults can invest in their youth and how a community can build its future intentionally.
